I get Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT1 as the first LUMIX with tough design including waterproof down to 3 meters, shockproof to 1.5 meters, and dustproof. The Beach and Surf Mode shoot perfect videos and images on a bright beach. I used AVCHD Lite mode for shooting videos and got .mts file with 50 fps. I can import these .mts files to Pinnacle Studio 14, but the software works very slowly, which make editing uneasy.
I need to convert the AVCHD Lite files to MP4 before editing, and I was recommended to use Aunsoft Video Converter, which is the fast solution to convert 720p MTS to MP4 keeping the original resolution to 1280x720. Here I demonstrate the quick steps converting Lumix FT1 AVCHD Lite files to MP4 for Pinnacle Studio 14. If you are using the NTSC model DMC-TS1, you may also use the Panasonic Video Converter.
Step 1. Load Panasonic FT1 videos to Aunsoft Video Converter.
